THE Africa Super League was launched in Tanzania this week amid much fanfare, with huge prize money for the 24 clubs who qualify for the first edition next year.
A 25-year-old man from Namavambi village in the Kavango West region was found dead in the early hours of Wednesday at a certain pastor's house at the Maporeza location of Nkurenkuru, where he was taken for prayers.
In a report, Namibian Police spokesperson deputy commissioner Kauna Shikwambi said
the deceased, identified as Andreas Matamo Sitentu, was discovered by his girlfriend at the premises of the 35-year-old pastor.
Sitentu was allegedly sick, and was taken to the pastor's premises for prayers in July, after several visits to the hospital failed to improve his health, Shikwambi said.
The church reportedly does not have a name, and the pastor is alleged to be camping in the location, alongside his followers who are staying in small tents, said Shikwambi
No arrest has been made yet, pending an autopsy.
