      5 killed in Zambezi road crash

      FIVE people were killed in a head-on collision along the B8 road in the Sikubi area of the Zambezi region on Friday night.

      Zambezi regional police spokesperson inspector Kisco Sitali confirmed the accident and identified the five deceased as Bebi Sepo, Mavuna Lister, Kapuyu Castro, Litaba Litaba and Muzumi Evans. Their next of kin have been informed of their death.

      Sitali said the accident happened around 22h00 when a Toyota Corolla collided head-on with a Mitsubishi hatchback killing the five on the spot.

      “Four other passengers sustained serious injuries and are admitted at the Katima Mulilo State Hospital,” he said.
