      A ZAMBIAN man lost his life after he was hit by a security company vehicle on Sunday night in the Makolonga area of Zambezi region.

      The deceased was identified as Mubita Mulanga (age unknown).

      Zambezi regional police spokesperson inspector Kisco Sitali confirmed the incident to The Namibian, saying the deceased was hit around 19h48 while pushing a wheelbarrow along the road. He died on the spot.

      A case of culpable homicide was reported at the Katima Mulilo police station.
